VodafoneThree's graduate programme FAQs describe the online assessment as roughly 40 minutes in total, combining a competency-based video interview with a game-based assessment. That total covers instructions, the practice items Vodafone provides before each section, and the scored content itself, so the working time is shorter than the wall-clock figure suggests.
Vodafone's assessments page adds two useful details. First, the reasoning assessment may include numerical, logical and/or verbal questions — Vodafone does not commit to a fixed mix, so prepare for all three. Second, the personality assessment has no right or wrong answers, which is Vodafone's own wording rather than ours.
Sova Assessment publishes a Vodafone customer story covering the Discover programme, so your invitation is likely to arrive from sovaassessment.com. Treat the invitation email as definitive for your own cycle: it names the modules you will actually sit and any deadline for completing them.

Three elements map cleanly onto question-based practice, and all three are full practice sections on SovaGorilla:
- Situational judgement and behavioural questions — workplace scenarios where you rank or pick the most and least effective responses.
- Reasoning — numerical (tables, charts, percentage change), verbal (True / False / Cannot Say) and logical (abstract sequences).
- Personality — agreement-scale statements about how you work, with consistency checks and no scored right answer.

The parts we do not simulate
Two stages are deliberately guide-only. The game-based assessment is delivered as short interactive tasks rather than a question paper, and the video interview is recorded. We do not recreate either interface, because a fake game or a fake recording would teach you the wrong habits and misrepresent what Vodafone actually runs.
What preparation can do for those stages is remove surprises: know the format, use Vodafone's own practice rounds properly, sort out your kit and connection, and rehearse structured answers out loud. Our two dedicated guides cover exactly that.
How to prepare in the week before
Work in short, frequent sessions rather than one long block. Sit one reasoning section a day, review every item you got wrong, and keep a note of the mistakes that repeat — misreading a chart axis, or picking Cannot Say when the passage does support the statement.
Then move to behaviour. Read the Spirit of Vodafone beliefs, and for each one write a short real example with your own contribution and a concrete outcome. Those examples serve both the situational questions and the video interview, so the work compounds.

On the day
Have pen, paper and a calculator to hand, sit somewhere quiet with a wired or stable connection, and use a laptop rather than a phone. Do the practice items Vodafone offers before each section — they exist to make the interface familiar, and skipping them wastes free preparation.
If the assessment can be split across sittings, that is set by the employer and stated in your invitation. Where it can be, finish reasoning while you are freshest.
