About SovaGorilla and how we keep it accurate

SovaGorilla is an independent practice tool for the Sova online assessment used by UK graduate schemes. This page explains exactly where our content comes from, how often it is checked, and what we deliberately refuse to claim.

    What SovaGorilla is

A focused set of practice sections and a full mock using Sova-style question formats, plus employer-specific guides for UK schemes. You practise with SovaGorilla practice timers, then review every answer with an explanation.

SovaGorilla is an independent practice tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Sova Assessment or any employer named on this site.

How the simulator is kept accurate

    Reviewed periodically against published material

Every format description and scheme detail is re-checked against the employer's own careers pages and the assessment provider's published documentation. Anything we cannot source is removed rather than estimated.

    Dated content, everywhere

Each guide, employer page and practice section carries the date its content was last verified. If a date looks stale, it is stale — we would rather show you that than hide it.

What we deliberately do not claim

    • We do not claim to improve or guarantee your score. No practice tool can.
    • We do not use real assessment items. Every question is written by us in the published format.
    • We are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or connected to any assessment provider or employer named on this site.
    • We do not publish testimonials, pass rates or user numbers we cannot evidence.

    Where our claims come from

Every statement about the assessment or scheme competition is sourced. Nothing here is estimated.

    • Sova names JCB and Nationwide as early-careers users, and Sky, John Lewis Partnership, TUI and Vodafone among its customers.

    • Sova states that its numerical, verbal and logical reasoning tests have no fixed time limit, but the time you take to reach the correct answer is factored into your score.

    • Application and reapplication rules differ by employer: Santander says non-apprenticeship applicants normally wait at least six months before reapplying, while NHS GMTS welcomes a further application after an unsuccessful one.
