Terms of service

In effect from 25 September 2026

The agreement between you and SovaGorilla when you use the site or buy access.

    1. The agreement

By using sovagorilla.com (the "Service") you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service. These terms are written in English and are governed by the law of England and Wales.

    2. What the Service is, and what it is not

SovaGorilla is an independent practice tool. We write our own questions modelled on publicly described assessment formats. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Sova Assessment Ltd or any employer named on this site, we do not supply real assessment content, and we cannot influence any employer's decision about you.

Nothing here is a promise that you will pass an assessment or receive an offer. Assessment formats change without notice, and employers configure them differently.

    3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 and able to enter a contract. Keep your login details to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has access.

    4. Price and payment

    • Full Access is a one-time purchase of £39. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
    • Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). The price shown at checkout is the total you pay; there are no additional fees or charges.
    • Payment is taken by Stripe. We never receive your card details.
    • Access is granted to your account for the lifetime of the Service, for the sections listed on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

    5. Digital content and your right to cancel

What you buy is digital content supplied immediately. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase — but that right is lost for digital content once supply has begun with your consent.

At checkout, you must tick a box stating: “I want immediate access to Full Access and I understand that I lose my 14-day right to cancel once access starts. The 7-day money-back guarantee still applies.” We send a transactional purchase-confirmation email recording the product, price, purchase date, consent statement and guarantee terms.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — digital content of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose — are unaffected by anything in these terms.

    6. Our 7-day money-back guarantee

We refund in full when you claim by emailing [email protected] within 7 days of purchase, unless the content has been substantially used — more than 25% of the question bank attempted, or the full mock test completed. Refunds return to the original payment method. When a refund is issued, paid access from that purchase ends and your account returns to the free sections. Purchases made before 25 September 2026 keep the 30‑day guarantee that applied when you bought. The full conditions are set out on the refund policy page, which forms part of these terms.

    7. Acceptable use

    • Do not share your account, or resell, republish or redistribute our questions, solutions or guides.
    • Do not scrape or bulk-download content, or use automated tools against the Service.
    • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or probe the Service, or circumvent access controls.
    • Do not use the Service unlawfully, or to help anyone cheat in a live assessment.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules. Where we close an account for a serious breach, we may withhold a refund for content already supplied.

    8. Intellectual property

All questions, solutions, guides, branding and code are owned by SovaGorilla or our licensors. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own preparation. Third-party names and trademarks on this site are used descriptively and belong to their owners.

    9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, add or retire sections and features. If we permanently remove something material that you paid for, contact us and we will put it right — by restoring access or by a fair refund.

    10. Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for loss of opportunity, loss of an application, or any indirect or consequential loss.

    11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service at any time and close your account from your profile page. Sections 8, 10 and 12 continue to apply after your account closes.

    12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EEA, you keep the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence and to rely on your local mandatory consumer protections.

    13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after they are posted; we will not change the refund terms that applied to a purchase you have already made. The date at the top shows the current version.
