    Short answer

Sova says its image-based personality questionnaire has 87 items and measures 18 traits; its full personality questionnaire takes around 20–25 minutes. Employers may set pass scores per activity.

    The format

Formats vary by configuration. A common one presents a block of short statements and asks which is most and which is least like you, forcing trade-offs between traits you might otherwise rate highly across the board. Others use simple agreement scales.

Our practice module uses single agree/disagree statements; Sova's questionnaire uses forced-choice blocks.

What employers do with the profile

Sova lists Teamwork, Influencing, Analytical Thinking, Innovating, Adaptability, Drive and Learning Focus for its Early Careers Assessment.

Read the published framework for your scheme before you start, then answer honestly as someone who understands what the role actually involves.

    Consistency

Answer each item honestly in a work context. Sova does not publish a consistency-detection method.

    Put it into practice

The fastest way to internalise the format is practice in the same question formats.
